- How to play the game -
The seemingly simple goal for Craig is to grow his tribe while defending it from prehistoric threats, such as velociraptors and the humungosaurus t-rex.

In order to do this, there are 3 primary tasks that you need to manage and distribute across your cavemen. The first is HUNTING, where Craig has to chuck rocks at threats and 'live food'. The second is GATHERING, in which Craig has to gather fruit and carcasses and return it to his cave. Finally, Craig has to PREPARE, which involves converting the food stored in the cave into 'spendable credits'. These credits are used to buy HUNTERS, GATHERERS, and PREPARERS, who Craig must train to do the tasks they're named after.

Throughout your growth you will face harder threats, such as the Triceratops and Rival Cavemen. However, the Tutorial Guy will also award you with special items to assist you. Items include free cavemen, a training target to throw rocks at, and meteor strikes.

Q: What with all the hints and gossip about a Caveman Craig 2?
A: These aren't just rumours - we are currently putting together Caveman Craig 2. If all goes well, it'll be available mid-to-late 2009. Caveman Craig 2 will put a focus on tribal and tactical warfare, while remaining faithful to the original concept and adding countless new features and goodies.

Q: Does Caveman Craig or any of its editions contain malware or adware?
A: Nope. All the downloads via this website or BMT Micro (our software registration service) contain no malware whatsoever (spyware, viruses, adware, trojans, etc). Furthermore, we don't use installers on our games so you can see exactly what files are being put on your hard-drive, and where - so no useless shortcuts all over your desktop, quick launch bar, and start menu.

Q: I'm having an issue purchasing Caveman Craig SE or downloading the game - What do I do?
A: It's best not to contact us regarding issues with purchases or billing - only technical issues with the game itself (or downloading a free file, such as Caveman Craig Classic). BMT Micro handles all our sales, and you can contact them via www.bmtmicro-info.com.

Q: Caveman Craig is constantly loading names at startup! What the freak is wrong!?
A:Relax, for goodness sake! It seems you haven't extracted all the files from the downloaded zip archive properly. Make sure you extract all the files to the same folder. If the 'names.dat' file is missing, you can download it HERE.
